I’ve chosen this beautiful new bundle, Thoughtful Expressions, to make my card project today.

The images are perfect to colour with your chosen medium, I’ve used Stampin’ Blends!

It turns out, humming birds come in an array of different colours, so you can really have fun with this image.

This combo uses Blueberry Bushel, Azure Afternoon, Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party.

Some ink blending in the background lifts the delicate shape of the coordinating dies.

You can see this card in my You Tube video…

I swapped the colours a little for this sample…. Which do you like best?

I hope you enjoyed this project.

More Last Minute Cards with the Cottage Wreaths Stamp Set

Hello Everyone,

Are you ready for Christmas? I still have some things to do but it’ll come together I’m sure! 🤞🏻. This batch of cards should finish off what I need on that front at least.

I love this combination of Cherry Cobbler, Pretty Peacock and Wild Wheat. There’s some Sweet Sorbet in there too for the mat layer.

I needed 5 mini card layers and mats, which can be cut from a single sheet of cardstock.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

My original card was a brighter palette of Parakeet Party, Shaded Spruce and som Real Red.

The same layout looks so different in each of these colourways….

Here’s something a little plainer, with Starry Sky layers and Berry Burst bow!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

I’ve taken different route to create the framed edge, using stamps rather than Designer Series Paper.

This was heat embossed with clear powder. A touch of ink blending lifts this from the background.

The colour combo I’ve used is Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon and Moody Mauve.

You can see this card in my You Tube video…

I swapped the colours to something brighter, Shaded Spruce,Lemon Lime Twist and Sweet Sorbet.

Emboss Resist Blended Background with the Sparkling Snowflakes Stamp Set

Hello Everyone,

I’m combining some favourite techniques to make the background for today’s cards… Heat embossing and ink blending!

I started by adding Moody Mauve ink to the top and bottom of the card layer before adding the snowflakes.

Fresh Freesia ink was added to the central portion, revealing white snowflakes.

Blackberry Bliss ink was added to the top and bottom, revealing pink snowflakes.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

A spritz of water added some extra interest too. Layering on to white cardstock makes the colour pop!

The Scallloped Contour dies fit the sentiment perfectly, and some adhesive sequins finish it off!

The blue combo uses, Boho Blue, Gorgeous Grape and Starry Sky.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Project Share Project Blog Hop – Winter, Christmas, all things Festive!

Good Morning Everybody,

Welcome to this month’s Project Share Project blog hop. Our theme for this month is Winter, Christmas and all things festive!

See the other projects by using the links below, or use the “Next” button at the bottom of this post!

Heather Forgan – Stamp With Nellie

Victoria Littlewood – Vickie Lou Designs

Jayne Frank – Craft with Jayne

My card today features the Joy of Noel bundle and some colouring with Stampin’ Blends.

The accent colour in this design is Wild Wheat, which I am using as a substitute for gold. It looks great against the Shaded Spruce card base.

The Noel sentiment is popped up on some mini dimensionals and I have added some sparkle with a clear Wink of Stella glitter brush pen.

This version uses a Real Red card base. I had originally stamped the panel for the bottom of the card with black ink, but I prefer the softer look using Crumb Cake. Thinking about it now, I probably could have used Wild Wheat too.

Simple Winter Card with the Forever Forest bundle

Hello Everyone,

I have something really simple to share today and it gave me an excuse to ink up two stamp sets for the first time… Forever Forest and Joy to You!

I used two shades of green to give the look of distance between the rows of trees. This sample used Old Olive and Mossy Meadow.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial

The panel was made with the largest square from the Stylish Shapes dies. A second square was used to cut the gold, heat embossed sentiment. The join is hidden behind the treeline.

The Fern 3D embossing folder added some interest to the background layer.

This version uses Garden Green and Soft Sea Foam.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Wreath Building with the Joy of Noel Stamp Set

Hello Everyone,

I have been wanting to make a Christmas wreath with the Joy of Noel bundle for ages… And here it is!

I have picked a nontraditional colour scheme to get a frosty look to the card. The foliage uses a mixture of Lost Lagoon, Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam with Moody Mauve berries.

With a different sentiment, this would make a beautiful winter wedding card too.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial

The card base and sentiment are in Gray Granite accented with some vellum, Sheer ribbon and Neutral Adhesive Sequins.

This version uses warmer tones of Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake, with Mossy Meadow, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Warm Wishes with the Beary Cute Stamp Set

Hello Everyone,

I have to say, I wasn’t immediately drawn to this stamp set, I’m not really a fan of cutesie animals… But I did want some Christmas trees and the set had that plus some lovely little presents, snowflakes and sentiments!

Lots of colouring going on with this design… I wanted a spectrum of coloured wrapping paper under the trees!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

With so many gorgeous colours to choose from there are lots of options. Broadly speaking the Regals and Brights work well together.

Here’s an alternative where I didn’t add any extra colour to the trees, and dropped in some little snowflakes in the background!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Here’s an alternative layout using a single blended panel to make two cards.

This combo used Wild Wheat, Copper Clay, Old Olive and Moody Mauve.

The sentiment was stamped with the Biggest Wish stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed this project.
