Awesome

Hello there,

So who said flamingos had to be pink? I love how this turned out.

I have used this stamp before, with a very similar design and traditional pink colours.

The bird has been stamped in Soft Sky, Marina Mist and Night of Navy ink.

Pear Pizzazz and Bermuda Bay were used for the water.

The scenery was built up with Pear Pizzazz, Wild Wasabi and Old Olive inks.

For some contrast, Fresh Fig card stock was used to make the card base. I used the same ink for the sentiment.

The supplies used are linked below.

Red and Black

Hi there,

I have the very great pleasure of being on the Pootlers Design Team for the month of September.

Please be sure to stop by my friends’ posts too. You will find the links to these other fantastic projects at http://www.pootles.co.uk

The featured stamp set is Flirty Flowers from the annual catalogue.

I have adapted a design I used a couples of weeks ago, which I really liked.

The card base is made from black card stock. A Cherry Cobbler card layer was cut to 4 by 5 3/4 inches.

A piece of Whisper White measuring 3 7/8 by 5 5/8 inches was used for the stamping. Basic Black and Real Red inks were used to stamp the flowers, leaving 2 inches blank at the top.

Cherry Cobbler Stitched Ribbon was added across the card stock and then adhered to the Cherry Cobbler card layer. This was added to the card base.

The sentiment was stamped in Real Red ink and cut with a Stitched Shape framelit. Layering Squares were then used to cut black and red layers.

These were adhered together with Fast Fuse and added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally, I added some bling with some Basic Rhinestones.

I hope you enjoyed this project. Thanks for stopping by and happy stampin’!

Good Morning!

A card to make the turn if the weather this week, autumn is on its way!

On a piece of Crumb Cake, I used versamark ink to stamp leaves from the Colorful Seasons set, which I then embossed with white powder.

I repeated this process with copper embossing powder.

The smaller solid leaf was then added in between for another layer of interest. These were not heat embossed but left as a watermark.

The piece was mounted on to a white card base. A sentiment from the same set was embossed with gold powder on Very Vanilla card and cut to a banner.

Some copper thread and copper trim were adhered behind the sentiment before adhering to the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the shop below.

Good Tidings

Good Morning,

Layering stamp sets seem to be all the rage at the moment. This holly branch combines a number of stamps for a realistic effect.

For the leaves I used Wild Wasabi and Garden Green inks to get a rich dark green colour.

The berries were first stamped in Calypso Coral, with Real Red for the second layer.

The branch used Soft Suede and Early Espresso ink.

The sentiment, I opted for Crushed Curry for a “gold” look with out getting the embossing powders out…. Sort of like a vintage card may have looked.

To tie the yellow in, I adhered this on to a So Saffron card layer and added some lovely new Quilted Christmas ribbon down the side. This was all added to a Garden Green card base, with a couple of rhinestones.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are linked to the shop below.

Beautiful Season

Hi there,

I have another card featuring new products for you.

This great tree is a layering stamp. The base layer was stamped in Tranquil Tide ink.

I chose to use versamark ink for the second layer so I could heat emboss with white powder for a snow effect.

The border was die cut with the Card Front Builder die set.

Some red card stock was adhered behind the white layer, and the sentiment added.

The panel was added to a Tranquil Tide card base, to match the foliage of the tree.

Birthday Wishes

Hi there folks,

Very quick and easy make today, but doesn’t it look terrific?

I have used the Happiest of Days stamp set.

I made a card base from Berry Burst card stock in the usual way by cutting A4 lengthways at 4 1/8 inches then scoring at 5 7/8 inches.

The white card layer is cut to 4 by 5 3/4 inches. The rose was stamped over this in Berry Burst ink. This was adhered flat to the card base.

The sentiment was also stamped in Berry Burst ink on to a scrap piece of white card. I originally intended to span this across the card but ended up cutting it down and adding to a Berry Burst layer.

I finished the card with a bow and Glitter Enamel Dots.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.

Cool

Hello Everyone,

I thought I would make something summery for you today.

I started by creating the ice cream cones. The elements were all cut with the Frozen Treats Framelits. I chose Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron and Pool Party for the scoops. Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip was used for the cones and chocolate topping.

A piece of Whisper White card was partially cut with the largest stitched square framelit. The die was moved along and partially die cut again to make a rectangle. This was layered on to some Wild Wasabi card stock.

Add the ice creams to this piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A Whisper White card layer was decorated with the sprinkles stamp from the Cool Treats set using Crumb Cake ink. Some Lemon Lime Twist ribbon was adhered across the middle before adding to a Wild Wasabi card blank.

I added the ice cream panel to the card base with Fast Fuse adhesive. A knot of ribbon was also added with a glue dot.

The sentiment was stamped in Wild Wasabi ink and then cut with a small oval die.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the shop below.

A mixture of Early Espresso, Chocolate Chip and Soft Suede inks were used to give the look of different types of chocolate.

Crumb Cake Classic Weave ribbon and Copper Trim were then wrapped around the card.

The sentiment, also from the set, was stamped in Soft Suede ink and cut with the Starburst Punch. The edges ware lightly sponged with the same ink.

The circle was stamped in Early Espresso and die cut and adhered to a Crumb Cake scalloped circle.

A few rhinestones just finish it off.

Hey there,

Can anybody guess which stamp set I have used to make this card?

This was mounted on black card stock. Bakers twine. Was wrapped around and tied to a small bow.

I took the sentiment from Beautiful You. Stamped on black card in Versamark ink and heat embossed with white powder. I cut this with the Starburst punch and added it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
