I decided to try a slim line style card for something a bit different to my usual style.

I used the Floral Squares dies to make my card, and there’s no stamping!

Creative Colour Challenges #5 with Layering Hugs

Today’s card is for teammate Vickie’s Creative Colour Challenge….

I had no idea how I was going to make these colours work. It certainly helped that there was a Neutral included.

I rested on using the Layering Hugs dies to create my design.

I didn’t stop there. I ended up making 4 cards in total. They were so easy to make!

The cards look so different when the coloured cardstock is used as a card base…

This is an interesting combination and yellow isn’t a colour I use a lot.

I picked out the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set and teamed that with a sentiment from the In Symmetry stamp set.

Customising your white ribbons by colouring them with Stampin’ Blends or Classic ink extends there flexibility.

Some Wink of Stella adds some subtle shimmer to the project too!

Creative Colour Challenges #1

Hello Everyone,

One of my team mates has launched a new weekly colour challenge blog!

As you will know, I love colour challenges and this one is definitely a challenge!

You see all the other entries over at the Creative Colour Challenge blog here!

I chose the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp to work with.

The image was stamped very simply using the prescribed colours and added to a mat of Pacific Point cardstock.

A few pearls finished off the project.
