See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

My original sample used Blushing Bride and Blackberry Bliss inks.

Vellum and Tulle ribbon add interest without distracting from the design.

SU Colour Challenge for October

Hello Everyone,

This is my second colour challenge of the week, this time a Facebook challenge…. Why not check it out and have a go yourself?

Of course, this just screams autumnal leaves, so I chose the Loyal Leaves stamp set for my card.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial…. (Sorry I forgot to change my audio settings!)

I positioned the Tailored Tag so it was peeking over the edge of the border.

The rhinestones draw the eye into the design.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

New Colour Combo with Beautiful Friendship stamp set

Hello Everyone,

Yellow! Not my favourite colour, but I know many of you do, so I’m using Daffodil Delight as my starting point today.

After rummaging through my other ink pads, I decided to team this with Just Jade, (originally this was going to be Pear Pizzazz but I changed my mind!) and Rococo Rose.

See all the stamping in my video tutorial….

The black ink of the sentiment really pops from the other bright colours in this design.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Masculine Birthday featuring the Rustic Retreat stamp set

Hello Everyone,

This lovely stamp set doesn’t get much attention in the catalogue, but I think it is really beautiful.

Whilst I had the guys in mind with my design, there’s no reason this could be made for a female recipient too!

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

Doesn’t that stag look majestic!

Mini Catalogue Card Swap – What did I make?

Hello Everyone,

One of great things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is sharing creativity and ideas both with my customers and the rest of the team.

At each catalogue launch we do a card swap… By exchanging cards we share ideas, discover new techniques, and sometimes realise there’s something we didn’t see in the catalogue!

See how I made my batch of cards, you may be surprised at which stamp bundle was used….

The Shimmery White card stock is so pretty in real life!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Arranging a Springtime Wreath

Hello Everyone,

It may be turning chilly with autumn approaching, but I thought I’d make a little reminder of the bright colours of spring!

I’ve used the Stamparatus tool to stamp the wreath, first in Granny Apple Green ink and then again with versamark.

By heat embossing with clear powder, a glazed look can be achieved.

See how I made this card in my video tutorial….

Here’s a close up of the glazed wreath and the shaped flowers!

This is the Christmas version…

And here they are together. Just shows how versatile this set can be.

I hope you enjoyed this project.
