Creative Colour Challenge #29 featuring In Bloom

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card was my entry in to teammate Vickie’s Creative Colour Challenge….

Find out more about the challenges and participate HERE

I’ve used a heap of retiring products in my project too including my absolute favourite Stitched So Sweetly dies.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…..

I added some ink to the background die cut with a blending brush.

I love all the texture and dimension of this design!

The Tailored Tag punch is great for sentiments!

Do you prefer the Mango Melody or Grey Granite sentiment?

I hope you enjoyed this project.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Simple Stamping with the In Bloom Stamp Set

Hello Everyone,

I’m using some favourites from the annual catalogue today for some simple stamping.

The beauty of this technique is that you can create the right background for your project!

I picked colours from the same colour family to work with. These are all from the Subtles! I’ve also pulled out my favourite Stitched So Sweetly dies too.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

Here’s the original sample using Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight, all from the Brights family!

Stamping the sentiment a number of times with the Stamparatus intensifies the colour helping it to stand out from the background.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Simply Amazing Cards with the Pierced Blooms dies

Hello Everyone,

I’m totally thrilled with how this card turned out.

The featured product is the Pierced Blooms die set. I’ve left lots of white space by using smaller layers than usual!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…..

The layered blooms look amazing cut from white card stock. The bright coloured centres make them pop!

For this card I used the same coloured card stock for the bloom layers and matching pearl centres!

I hope you enjoyed this project.
