Emily Makes a Halloween Card

Hello Everyone,

Emily is sharing how she made this Halloween Card today! …

We took some ideas from Jo Blackman and Heather Forgan to create the idea.

You can see how Emily made this card in her video tutorial….

I think it turned out so well, and the ink blending for the background is amazing!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

I’ve made a simple set of Halloween greeting cards using the Cute Halloween designer series paper.

The monochromatic design allows some freedom to add some fun colours as accents.

In this case I’ve used Highland Heather to stamp the greeting and little bats from the Little Delights Stamp Set.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

The Highland Heather ribbon adds texture and helps tie together the overall design.

I made these samples with the other multi coloured side to the papers.

This time I stamped the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive and used the black and white gingham ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Inspire.Create #026

Happy Monday,

Here’s this week’s Inspire.Create entry using a sketch as inspiration.

The design team have made some wonderful projects. See them here!

I have decided to get out the Halloween stamps!

Some Pumpkin Pie Designer Series Paper was Layered on to a black card base.

A 3-1/2 inch strip of copper glimmer paper was then added to the centre.

Granny Apple Green ink was used to stamp the spooky mist on to some Whisper White card stock. This was adhered with dimensionals.

On a scrap, I stamped the sentiment and bat’s with Gorgeous Grape ink.

The coordinating punch was used to cut the bats. Mini dimensionals were perfect to see ure these to the card.

A 1″ circle punch was used to cut the sentiment, which was then adhered to a 1-1/2″ Circle of Pumpkin Pie card stock. This in turn, was mounted on to some black card cut with the Christmas Traditions punch.

Some black glitter ribbon was attached across the middle with the sentiment topper added over the top.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!
