Peaceful and Bright

Hi there,

I am using an old favourite today… Star of Light!

To make the topper, I have used the coordinating dies to cut Sweet Sugarplum and Whisper White card stock.

Two Starbursts were punched from vellum. One was coloured with a light Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blend marker. These were layered together with some Fast Fuse adhesive.

The die cut star element was added to the vellum pieces with dimensionals.

The card base was stamped first with a sentiment from the Star of Light set using Sweet Sugarplum ink.

The large swirl was stamped in the top portion of the card. The topper was then added to the centre.

Some small stars completed the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stampin’!

Felted Christmas

Hi Folks,

Not one but 4 cards today, all using the Stitched Felt Embellishments from the Autumn/Winter catalogue.

To make the card toppers, I first adhered each shape to a Stitched Square using multipurpose glue and allowed them to dry.

Meanwhile, I cut four 2-1/2 inch squares of Quilted Christmas DSP, two in red, two in green. These was adhered to contrasting Scalloped square die cuts.

White card layers were wrapped with ribbon of various types; Real Red Solid ribbon, Mini Tinsel Trim and Tranquil Tide Finely Woven ribbon.

Sentiment were selected from Oh What Fun and Star of Light sets and stamped in Real Red, Garden Green and Tranquil Tide.

Finally, everything was assembled on to Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green card bases.

I hope you enjoyed today’s projects. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Stampin’!
