Keila’s Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the March edition of the InspireInk Blog Hop.

Myself and a bunch of amazing ladies are sharing our creations to inspire you to create.

This month is a sketch challenge from Keila.

This is my card – hope you like it!

I have used a Whisper White card layer to build my design.

First, I stamped the large splatter image from Touches of Texture in Bermuda Bay ink.

Sale-a-bration shimmer ribbon was wrapped around the middle. This was adhered to a white card base.

The sentiment is from Happy Birthday Gorgeous. This was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink and cut with the Starburst punch.

This was added to a 2-1/4 inch card stock circle. The largest circle from the Stitched Shapes framelit collection was used to cut some vellum.

The completed embellishment was adhered with dimensionals.

Finally, I added some Basic Pearls that had been coloured with a Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend marker.

Thinking of You #FMS328

Happy Friday!

The sketch this week is brought to you by Linda.

The design team have created some great projects. You can see them here!

This is my interpretation. I have kept it very simple, leaving lots of white space.

I have used a Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime Twist colour combination.

The topper was made using the Window Shopping stamp set. This was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink and then cut down with a trimmer. This was mounted on to coordinating card stock.

The card base was made from Flirty Flamingo card stock. Lemon Lime Twist and Whisper White layers were added on top.

The patterned square stamp was used to stamp the card with Lemon Lime Twist ink. The sentiment was added with Flirty Flamingo ink.

The topper was adhered to the card using dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Thanks for stopping by and happy Stampin’!

Myths & Magic #FMS323

Good Morning,

Here’s another Freshly Made Sketches challenge. This week the sketch has been provided by Karren.

You can see what the design team made with this sketch here!

So the big decision was which of the amazing designer series papers to use! I went with Myths and Magic, for some fun and sparkle.

The DSP was trimmed to 1-1/2 by 4-3/4 inch strips. These were then cut at 1-1/4 inch.

The pieces were adhered to a piece of Smoky Slate card stock, measuring 3-1/4 by 5 inches.

An off cut of Smoky Slate card stock was trimmed to 3-3/4 inches and cut in to a banner.

The sentiment from the matching Magical Day stamp set was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink and due cut with the coordinating die.

The unicorn was coloured with Rich Razzleberry watercolour pencil and Wink of Stella.

These elements were added with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Christmas Blessings #GDP118

Hi folks,

Its time for a sketch challenge over at the Global Design Project this week. See what the design team made here.

This is my design.

The card base was made using Garden Green card stock.

The card layer was embossed using the Sparkle embossing folder. A 2 inch strip of tartan paper from the Christmas Around The World DSP collection was adhered with Fast Fuse to the debossed side.

Some Linen Thread was wrapped around and tied in to a bow, with a silver Foil Snowflake layered on top.

The sentiment was taken from Christmas Pines which I stamped on black card with versamark and heat embossed with white powder.

I hope you enjoyed this project.
