Triangular Treat Box

Good Morning,

These boxes are really easy to make in short space of time. No tabs or wedges to cut!

The only thing to work out is how big the final product needs to be which might require a little trial and error.

For my project, I started with a 10 by 6 inch piece of DSP.

The long side was scored at the halfway point, 5 inches.

A mark was made on the short side at the halfway point, 3 inches.

Using a straight edge and scoring tool, add 4 score lines by connecting the centre score line with the mark. The end result will create a diamond shape. Fold and burnish the score lines.

To assemble the box, bring together the sides and secure with adhesive.

Punch a small hole on both sides of the opening to allow ribbon to be threaded through. Pulling the ribbon tight will pinch the box closed.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.

Plaid Christmas

Hi Everyone,

Something simple to share today.

I have used Cherry Cobbler card stock for the card base and card layer.

A 2 inch strip of Christmas Around The World DSP was adhered across the middle of the card layer.

Metallic Edge ribbon was then added to this.

The sentiment was stamped in versamark on to more Cherry Cobbler and heat embossed with gold powder. This was cut with a Stitched Oval die, and mounted on to a gold foil scalloped oval.

The second card was constructed in a similar way.

The DSP was 1-1/4 inches wide and orientated vertically. Gold Sequin trim replaced the ribbon.

Some extra decoration was added with die cut pine cones and leaves.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #005

Good Morning,

The Inspire.Create.Challenge this time is a sketch challenge. You can see what the Design Team made here

This is what I made;

The DSP is from the Christmas Around the World collection. This measures 2 by 5-3/4 inches.

Before adding to the card, I ruffled some ribbon along the edge. The paper was then adhered to the card with dimensionals.

The sentiments are from the Season Like Christmas stamp set. These were stamped with Real Red ink and cut with a Stitched Circle framelit.

I mounted the sentiments on to a foiled snowflake which I then adhered to the card with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project, thanks for stopping by and happy stampin’!

DSP Note Card Mix

Hi folks,

I shared some note cards a couple of days ago which were very popular. So here are some more using some of the papers included in the paper sale which ends on 31st October – so there’s still time to get yours.

These 4 use A Whole Lot of Lovely to cover the card with a simple black sentiment from the coordinating stamp set Lots of Love.

Birthday Memories was used for these cards. I used the same layout as the original post. The sentiments are taken from Happy Birthday Gorgeous.

Here is Pick a Pattern. This is quite a quirky designer paper, but looks great here. The pieces were cut on the diagonal for a different look. The sentiments are taken from Patterns and Pieces and cut and mounted in different ways.

Finally, I used Christmas Around the World. This pack has some very bold designs on one side, but the other side has some more traditional designs which I used on these cards. I teamed this with Foil Snowflakes and a sentiment from Hearts Come Home.

So I hope this gives you some ideas.

Thanks for stopping by an happy stampin’!
