Introducing the New Stampin’ Up! Colours

Hello Everyone,

Today I’m bringing you sneaky perks at some upcoming products that will be available to customers in May when the new Annual Catalogue goes live!

We have 5 new In Colours (left to right);

  • Peach Pie
  • Shy Shamrock
  • Summer Splash
  • Pretty in Pink
  • Petunia Pop

I used a new 3D embossing folder too, this is called Eyelet. I added coordinating ink to create an ombre look to the background.

I used the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set and punch for the sentiment.

There is a stunning die cut peeking out from behind the sentiment banner… I am going to be using these dies a lot I suspect! 😂

The In Colour ribbon is lovely and soft and ties into a bow very easily.

We have another colour joining the core range too…. Basic Beige! Sounds boring? I know…. But this is going to be so versatile… I think I’ll need to get another pack!

And look how beautifully it goes with Early Espresso!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Creating Backgrounds using Happy Little Things stamp set

Hello Everyone,

I’m using two fab stamp sets available as online exclusives to make this Celebration card today.

I used all ten of the Brights colour family to stamp this fun background. The gaps were then filled in with the outline image using black ink.

You can see how she made this card in our video tutorial…

I used the Heartfelt Hexagon and Modern Oval punches to cut out the sentiment.

Here’s a monochromatic version using Orchid Oasis cardstock and ink!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Hello Everyone,

I’ve not been able to take part in this colour challenge for a while and Emily wanted to have a go too!

There’s a new challenge every Monday!

We have used the Textured Floral stamp set and dies to create our cards.

Emily wanted to stamp a background and make a wreath style topper.

You can see how she made this card in our video tutorial…

The sentiment was cut with the Deckled Circle dies Nd finished with some iridescent rhinestones.

Here’s my card using the same stamp bundle – totally different!

I think I like Emily’s version the best!

Project Share Project Blog Hop – April 2024 – 3D Project!

Good Morning Everybody,

Welcome to this month’s Project Share Project blog hop. Our theme this month is 3D!

See the other projects by using the links below, or use the “Next” button at the bottom of this post!

Victoria Littlewood – VickieLou Designs

Heather Forgan – Stamp With Nellie

Jayne Frank – Craft with Jayne

Those of you who follow me regularly will know this is not my usual style of crafting, but I have had a go at making a paper bag mini album.

I’ve used a mix of retiring and newer products to make my project today.

The 2023 In Colour Treat bags form the body of the album. These ones are Boho Blue.

The stamping has been done with Boho Blue and Starry Sky inks… These colours go together so well!

I recently discovered the Of Art & Texture stamp set… Love it!

You can see how I made the album in my video tutorial… It’s a longer video but I hope you enjoy it.

Here’s a view of the inside. Journalling panels were added to the pages, decorated with the same stamping and ink blending for a coordinated look.

Measurements (inches):

  • Front/Back Cover – 4⅞ x 6⅛
  • Spine – 4⅞ x 1¾, score each side at ½ inch
  • Journalling Panels – 4½ x 5¾
  • Front Panel – 4¾ x 6

I also rounded the corners. You can of course add additional layers as you would like.

This sample was made using Wild Wheat and Early Espresso, bring in the Petal Park stamps instead of Colour and Contour, (both sets are retiring)

The panels on the inside were layered on to the darker cardstock (I completely forgot on the blue version)

Clean and Simple Stamping with Timeless Charm!

Hello Everyone,

We’re going back to basics, with some simple Stampin’ today.

I’m also going to try a show some of the stamp sets that will retire when the new Annual Catalogue goes live in May.

Today, I’m using Timeless Charm today.

I like the way this set can make a watercolour-style background behind the sentiment.

Super easy to do….

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

No dies or punches used today either, but of course you can use whatever you want.

Here’s a blue version … Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky!

Both cards just had a few metallic pearls added – that’s it!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Neutrals Card featuring Planted Paradise!

Hello Everyone,

I’m having another bash at using the Planted Paradise stamp set today. No dies to go with this so if you want dimension, it’s fussy cutting! ✂️

I’ve used (mostly) Neutrals for this card – I did seek in a little Old Olive for some contrast.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

Don’t forget to check out the online exclusives in the Stampin’ Up! store… These embossing folders are new!

Here’s another idea with same stamp set and the retiring In Colours…. So fun and bright!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

This stamp set has been sat on my shelf for a little while and today I’m finally creating with it!

I’ve used some warm neutral tones to make this sample. The combination of Wild Wheat and Copper Clay with Early Espresso made a really fab looking card!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

For the original sample I used all the 2022 In Colours!

These colours will retire when the new annual catalogue is published later this year, so don’t miss out stocking up on cardstock and ink refills!

Hello Everyone,

Sale-a-bration will be coming to an end at the end of the month so I thought I’d make this card today to show some of the free stamp sets in action!

I’ve gone for a yellow colour palette with the card today, not a colour I use a lot. Of course you can choose any colour combination you like!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

I left a little more white space on this background, but you can fill the panel just like I did for the blue version.

Both cards were embellished with a hand tied bow and some Neutral Sequins!

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Ink Blended Background using the Layered Florals Embossing Folder

Hello Everyone,

Have you seen this amazing embossing folder? I absolutely love it… And it’s perfect for making super quick but stunning cards!

This is 3D folder, so make sure you follow the directions on your die cutting machine to get the right sandwich!

I just used Basic White cardstock so I could add colour, but this could easily have been subbed for any cardstock of your choice.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

I’ve added colour with blending brushes, selecting areas of the embossing for each colour.

This combo is Granny Apple Green, Berry Burst and Fresh Freesia with Gray Granite.

The sentiment is from a Sale-a-bration set and cut with these cute Everyday Details dies.

Here’s another version using Soft Sea Foam, Lemon Lolly and Bubble Bath with Crumb Cake… A much softer look!

And here’s another with bold blue flowers! This technique is definitely one to have fun with!

Vintage Style Card Topper using the Perennial Postage Bundle

Hello Everyone,

Today I’m creating something a little different. The vintage look isn’t my usual style but I thought it suited this card design.

The Perennial Postage Bundle combines pretty all occasion sentiments and this fantastic set of dies.

I used six of the smallest squares to create a topper, layered with Very Vanilla and Early Espresso card stocks.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

I used Pecan pie ink to stamp the Enduring Beauty image over the squares to match the card base.

Some twine, gems and sequins finished off the topper which was adhered with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project.
