Smooshed Heart

Good Morning,

I am trying something new today… Ink smooshing!

I prepared a card blank using Rose Red card stock.

On some watercolour paper, I stamped the striped heart from the Heart Happiness stamp set using clear Versamark ink. This was heat embossed with clear powder.

Once cool, I smooshed Rose Red ink over the top. To do this, ink was applied to a piece of plastic which was then swiped and dabbed over the project.

While this dried, I die cut hearts from black card stock and vellum. A Tailored Tag was cut from Rose Red card stock.

Some black metallic thread was adhered to the card first. The other elements were then added over the top.

The greeting is from the Window Shopping set. This was stamped with Rose Red ink and adhered with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Anniversary Heart

Hi Everyone,

Clean and Simple is the order of the day with this card.

The heart was stamped with Memento ink to allow the image to be coloured with Stampin’ Blend markers.

For the sentiment, the word anniversary was stamped first. This was taken from the Happy Wishes Sale-a-bration set. The word happy is from Thoughtful Banners.

The panel was adhered to a neutral card base. I chose to use Crumb Cake card stock for this.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Sale-a-bration ends 31st March. Don’t miss out on the freebies or the fabulous joining offer!

Springtime Hearts

Good Morning,

I just love the new Springtime Foils designer series paper.

I have teamed this striped pattern with the Heart Happiness stamp set from the Spring Summer catalogue.

The solid hearts were stamped with Smoky Slate ink. The stripes were added using Berry Burst ink. These were die cut with the coordinating Sweet and Sassy framelits.

The sentiment was borrowed from the Sure Do Live You set. This was stamped with Berry Burst ink and cut with the Classic Label punch.

Some Basic Grey shimmer ribbon was adhered the card front. The hearts and sentiment were added with dimensionals. A few metallic enamel accents finished the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

Strawberry Heart

Good Morning,

These little fruit punches are so adorable. The strawberries are definitely my favourite though.

I wanted to make them the feature on this card.

A heart from Heart Happiness was stamped in Pink Pirouette ink.

Strawberries were stamped and punch from Whisper White card stock. These were adhered over the heart with mini dimensionals.

The white panel was adhered to some green DSP from the Tutti Frutti stack.

A red piece of DSP was added to a a white card base. The strawberry panel was then adhered to this with dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped with Wild Wasabi ink. A tiny heart from the Fruit Basket set was used to embellish the background.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.

Inspire. Create. Challenge #009

Hi Everyone,

I am joining the Inspire. Create. Challenge again this week. The them is…. Love! You can see what the design team made here!

I have used Heart Happiness and Petal Palette stamp sets from the Spring Summer catalogue.

I started with the sentiment. This was stamped with Calypso Coral ink and die cut with the coordinating die.

Before adhering this down, I decided where the ribbon would lie and then stamped hearts with second generation ink.

The sentiment and ribbon were secured in place. A bow was also added to the ribbon.

An additional heart was stamped and die cut. This was adhered with dimensionals.

As a finishing touch, some basic pearls were coloured with a Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend marker.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Love Always

Good Morning,

I thought I would create a background for today’s project.

I have used Heart Happiness, a new photopolymer stamp set available in the Stampin’ Up! Spring Summer catalogue from 3rd January 2018.

I have used Powder Pink ink and card stock to make the card base.

One of the larger hearts was stamped in Flirty Flamingo and die cut with coordinating framelits.

There are no sentiments in the set so I used Sunshine Sayings instead.

I opted not to add any extra elements, keeping the card very simple.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.
