You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

The card takes on a whole different look when a different background is used.

This card was made for a friend who adores pink so I have used Magenta Madness for the base and borders.

Sunny Day #GDP135

Good Morning!

The Global Design Project design team are helping us all get ready for Summer with some beautiful bright projects.

This is the theme for this week’s challenge. See the inspiration here!

Here is my entry for this week;

I love this card!

To make the card base I stamped the sunshine image from the Sunshine and Rainbows using first and second generation Daffodil Delight ink.

Some striped DSP from the Tutti-Frutti pack were added down the centre of the card.

The sunglasses from Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set were stamped on to scraps of each of the 2016-2018 In Colour card stocks. To get an even solid black image I used my Stamparatus tool. This allowed me to stamp each image three times.

The images were fussy cut and adhered to the card using dimensionals.

The cute little sentiment from Sunshine and Rainbows was stamped with black ink and cut with the 1-1/8 scalloped circle punch.

The “sunshine” was created by punching a Daisy from So Saffron card stock. This was then cut again using the 1-3/4 inch circle punch. This was added to the card using doubled up dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Without a Little Rain

Hi there Everyone,

With all the rain we have had recently, I thought this was just the card for today.

This is very simply made by die cutting the rainbow bands from coloured card stock.

I used Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red and Elegant Eggplant.

Three clouds were die cut from Whisper White card stock.

I decided to use one of these to stage the sentiment.

Using Smoky Slate card stock as the base really made the colours in the rainbow pop.

A few raindrops stamped at the top completed the design.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below. If you live in the UK, France, Germany, Austria or The Netherlands, I would love to have your business.

Bright and Beautiful #GDP128

Hey Everyone,

The Global Design Team are casing the designer this week. You can their creations here!

I have used the same card shape to make my project. This was made by scoring an 8 inch, (20cm), square of Tempting Turquoise card stock in half. A white panel was cut 1/4 inch (1/2cm) smaller.

Rather than use flowers to embellish the corner, I used the Sunshine and Rainbows stamp set.

Two clouds were stamped with Soft Sky ink and two were die cut from Whisper White card stock.

Crushed Curry ink was used to stamp the sunshine. These were added to the card with dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Tempting Turquoise ink. Some clear epoxy rain drops finished the card.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

You are my…

Hi there,

Here’s another simple card for you today.

From the Sunshine and Rainbows bundle, I stamped and die cut the sun along with some clouds.

The pieces were arranged across the middle of a Smoky Slate card base. These were adhered with Snail and dimensionals.

“You are my”, is a stamp from the Sunshine Sayings set in the annual catalogue.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.

Rainbow

Hello Everyone,

I was so pleased to see this stamp set in the new catalogue! Who doesn’t love a rainbow.

The set is photo polymer, so lining up each band of colour was relatively easy … With a bit of patience!

The colours I have used are Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point, Rose Red and Elegant Eggplant.

The sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

That’s it. No added extras.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked below.

Thanks for stopping by and happy Stampin’!
