I have used the new Gathering Leaves embossing folder with the Branching Out dies to create a layered panel.

I love this combo of Crushed Curry and Blackberry Bliss!

Some pretty die cuts from the Beautiful Motifs set were added with multipurpose glue.

Antique Pearls and twine completed the card.

I have used the Beautiful Butterflies bundle to make my card.

I used the letterpress technique and ink blending to create the background.

A butterfly die cut was added with some white ink splatter!

Super Simple Card Layout for the Colour INKspiration Challenge #194!

Hello Everyone!

Today I am creating a card using the Colour INKspiration challenge 194. There are some fabulous projects from the design team and participants on Facebook …

My design is very simple using cardstock strips and the Mini Corrugated embossing folder.

I added a simple sentiment. This strip was not embossed for contrasting texture.

Some stamped birds and rhinestones were added as embellishments.

Shaker Card using Creative Colour Challenge #203!

Hello Everyone!

My card today is a shaker card featuring the Creative Colour Challenge #CCC203

The shaker frame was cut from two tone cardstock with the Gallery Blooms dies. The backing was stamped using Elements of Text and filled with Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix.

I added the sentiment and some die cut butterflies and rhinestones to decorate.

Colour Challenge with Beautiful Butterflies!

Hello Everyone!

Today’s card features one of my favourites… Beautiful Butterflies with this Facebook colour challenge!

Night of Navy was perfect for the layering, butterfly bodies and the sentiment.

For this version, Petal Pink was used as the base colour, using coordinating ink for a tone on tone look.

Crumb Cake cardstocks were used for butterfly wings and the banner.

Some Striped Mesh Ribbon and sequins added the gold accents!

Sunshine Vibes and a Colour Challenge!

Hello Everyone!

Today’s card features the Sunshine Vibes Bundle. This is a super cute set, that can be used in lots of ways.

The colour combo is inspired by the SU Colour Challenge Facebook group….

I kept the card base simple adding some gold mesh ribbon for a feminine touch.

The rainbow arcs can be cut with coloured cardstock or designer series paper. I chose to use Willow White Cardstock and coloured them with Stampin’ Blends.

Crafty Challenge Insta-hop March 2025 – Colour Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

Today I’m bringing you the card I shared over on Instagram for this month’s Crafty Challenge….

I used the embossing resist technique for the coloured panel, but I added ink blending both before and after the embossing powder.

Doing this gives both lighter and darker tones of the same colour.

The Mini Corrugated embossing folder adds texture to the background

I love the detail in the Textured Notes bundle, I used these tomount the sentiment.

Crafty Challenge Insta-hop December 2024 – Colour Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

Today I’m bringing you the card I shared over on Instagram for this month’s Crafty Challenge….

The colours have a vintage vibe so I have pulled out the gorgeous Layers of Beauty bundle to work with.

Crumb Cake was used for outlines, sentiment and layers.

The flowers use the Petal Pink, adding more ink to each layer.

The leaves are in Mossy Meadow, with Pretty Peacock for the details.

Pretty Peacock also embellishes the sentiment banner and I had some Blooming Pearls too.

Everything was layered on a Very Vanilla card base!

I am working with Layers of Beauty masks to create my card today

I chose Blueberry Bushel, Garden Green and Crushed Curry, (Regals), to create this card.

The image was die cut using the Deckled Rectangles and embossed with the Painted Texture folder.

For a different look, I twisted the ribbon before wrapping around the front.

For this version I used Balmy Blue, Soft Sea Foam and Lemon Lolly, (subtles).

I’ve used Enduring Beauty Bundle to create my card project today. I am really enjoying using the Mask, Stamp and Die together to make gorgeous cards – and it’s so easy!

I love this colour combo, and it was perfect for this card. The Fresh Freesia ink was layered to create depth on the flowers.

For this version, I didn’t die cut the image but just created a flat panel with clean edges for a different look.

I’m using the new Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set and punch to make my project today.

Lemon Lolly cardstock and stamping accented the deeper colours.

The Nested Essentials banners lift the sentiment from the inked background.

I’m using this card to showcase some new products too. More Wishes offers the great versatility if Biggest Wish but with a Christmas vibe. The Cheery Patterns embossing folders add texture that can be used for all occasions.

The colour combo blended beautifully to bring in some orange and green hues.

The sentiment panel was accented with iridescent ribbon and pearls.

The birthday example used a softer ink blend and uses the other embossing folder in the set. I added the new sheer ribbon to this one

Creative Colour Challenge #77 with the Petal Park bundle

Hello Everyone,

If you need a challenge, this will be right up your street .. some tricky colours to work with!

If you wish to play along you can do so HERE!

I have stuck with a floral design for my project… You can’t really go far wrong with the Petal Park bundle.

The Early Espresso leaves over Very Vanilla cardstock gave a vintage feel, enhanced with some Wink of Stella and ink blend around the edges.

This card used different layers and a larger sentiment to give the design changing the look of the card but using the same products.

I love Evening Evergreen as the account colour and a great alternative to black for sentiments. I will miss these colours when they retire in the Summer!
