Nature’s Botanicals and a Colour Challenge!

Hello Everyone!

I’m featuring another beautiful new stamp set today and I have been inspired by the latest Global Design Project colour challenge.

The challenges are posted on Facebook. Look for other inspiration using #GDP477 on Facebook and Instagram.

I created a simple stamped background with Pretty in Pink and Poppy Parade and added this to a Pebbled Path card base.

Additional images were stamped and fussy cut for the focal point.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

The sentiment was stamped in Pebbled Path ink and “double punched” with the Heartfelt Hexagon.

I used some white bakers twine and new Antique Pearl embellishments to finish off the card.

This blue version uses Boho Blue and Azure Afternoon.

The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Super Easy Cards for Any Occasion!

Hello Everyone!

I’m looking beyond Christmas with a simple card for any occasion.

I am working with the Labelled with Love stamp set and some of the 2024 In Colours.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

Sadly, the Everyday Details dies have now retired and sold out, so I have subbed those for the Perennial Postage set instead.

I chose to use Early Espresso rather than black ink for the outline images and sentiment.

The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Second generation Bubble Bath and Pretty in Pink created a soft background. Detailed snowflake images were added with Pretty in Pink and Petunia Pop ink.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

Blackberry Bliss was used as the accent colour in the layering and the sentiment.

A strip of striped iridescent ribbon added some shimmer and texture.

Inspire Create Challenge #180 – Colour Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is made for the latest Inspire Create Challenge Design Team!

For Challenge #180 we are using a colour challenge for all our projects!

You can see the other design team projects and take part in the challenge by clicking below!

Whilst the greys are sombre colours that lend themselves to sympathy cards, they can still make something beautiful.

I’ve worked with four shades today, this sample uses the warmer Gray Granite and Pebbled Path. You can see the difference in the look with cool shades Basic Grey and Smoky Slate below.

I chose to work with the Layers of Beauty decorative masks.

The large image was die cut and added to complementary card bases and layered panels. The bright white was knocked back with the residual ink on my blending brush.

The sentiment was cut with a die or punch with a touch of ribbon behind and finished with some grey pearls.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

The embossing on the background panel adds some detail.

I love the bold contrast of the Pecan Pie but the subtle look using Crumb Cake is lovely too!

The little heart from the punch is cute embellishment and a splash of colour comes from the wreath.

Decorative Christmas Trees using Non-Traditional Colours!

Hello Everyone,

You know it’s Christmas when its time to get the tree out and put up the decorations!

Now you can do it with cardstock too with the Decorative Trees bundle!

The trees were die cut from Balmy Blue cardstock. I chose the snowflake details to add on top which I cut from Basic White.

You can try using the colours the other way round… Or something completely different… Foil cardstock would look amazing!

For the baubles,I opted to stamped and then die cut, but you could use coloured cardstock too.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

Some metallic trim was wrapped around the background panel before adding the trees with dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped on coordinating cardstock and heat embossed to match the trim.

This one uses the smaller tree and a more traditional red and green combo, on Basic Beige with gold metallic accents.

The supplies used are listed and linked to the online store below.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Inspire Create Challenge #177 – Case the Designer!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is made for the latest Inspire Create Challenge Design Team!

For Challenge #177 we are using a floral theme for all our projects!

You can see the other design team projects and take part in the challenge by clicking below!

I am using the Snowy Wonder bundle to make my card.

The Blackberry Bliss panel was cut to 4¾ x 3 and then cut at angle. Small trees and snowflakes were added in matching ink for a tone on tone effect.

The sentiment was added in the bottom corner.

A selection of cardstock scraps, (all subtles in this case), were stamped and die cut and adhered to a Basic White circle. I used a spare die cut but you could use a punch or a different shape altogether.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

Finally, some grey pearls were added to the front, and some trees were stamped on the inside.

Here’s an alternative combo using Night of Navy and the 2024 in colours.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Make an Autumn Wreath with Caring Leaves!

Hello Everyone,

We have a new mini catalogue out full of seasonal products ready for autumn, Halloween, Christmas and more!

So I thought I’d kick off with this cute set, Caring Leaves.

All the card samples use Basic Beige card bases and Wild Wheat… It’s a marmite colour… But look how good these cards turned out!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

The circles for the sentiment topper were cut from the card layers to save some cardstock.

These cards use Cheery Cobbler and Copper Clay.

Some finishing touches of twine and adhesive backed sequins completed each card.

These cards use Pretty Peacock and Shaded Spruce … Which colours would you use?

Project Share Project Blog Hop – September 2024 – Embossing!

Good Morning Everybody,

Welcome to this month’s Project Share Project blog hop. Our theme this month is Embossing!

See the other projects by using the links below, or use the “Next” button at the bottom of this post!

Heather Forgan – Stamp With Nellie

Victoria Littlewood – Vickie Lou Designs

Jayne Frank – Craft with Jayne

I’ve been experimenting with variations of the Joseph’s Coat technique.

For this one, I used pinks and purples to colour the some Basic White cardstock.

The flowers from the Labelled with Love stamp set wre used to stamp over the background with versamark ink. These were then heat embossed with clear powder.

Berry Burst ink was added over the top of the embossing allowing the background colours to show through.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

This version is more traditional, in that it uses black ink to create the resist. The background was coloured with subtles inks.

And for these….

I used the brights inks with the butterflies, and added Night of Navy.

For something completely different, I went for an ombre background of Coastal Cabana, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock!

Click below to move on to Heather’s project!

I hope you enjoyed this project.
