Inspire Create Challenge #202 – Autumn / Fall!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is my design team make for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

For Challenge #202 we are all making Autumnal projects!

You can see the other design team projects and take part in the challenge by clicking below!

I have used the Etched Autumn background stamp to create two card panels at once!

A selection of red, orange and yellow ink was used to blend over the image which I then cut into two pieces.

I added them to Early Espresso mats and added some twine.

Each card was decorated with a leaf from the Natural Botanicals set and a sentiment from the Simply Said set.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Inspire Create Challenge #174 – Cards for Men!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is made for the latest Inspire Create Challenge Design Team!

For Challenge #174 we are making cards for the guys!

You can see the other design team projects and take part in the challenge by clicking below!

I am working with the Sketched Plaid background stamp to make my project today.

I used a dark ink for the stamping, and added extra lines with a Stampin’ Blend marker.

The panel was layered onto matching cardstock.

Some twine was added before adhering to the card base.

The sentiment was stamped to match the card base and die cut using the Everyday Details die. This was added to a larger die cut, and adhered to the card with dimensionals.

This version uses Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy and Wild Wheat!

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy Stampin’!

Making Pretty Cards with the Flowers of Beauty Dies!

Hello Everyone,

I absolutely love the Flowers of Beauty dies. The set includes some amazing standalone elements that make the prettiest embellishments.

The background panel was embossed and some Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock was added to the right hand side.

The panel was added to a Pretty Peacock layer and adhered to a Lost Lagoon card base.

I used Pumpkin Pie ink to stamp the sentiment from Simply Said and cut using a Spotlight on Nature die.

You can see how I coloured the flowers in my video tutorial….

Some rhinestones were added to the flower centres for some sparkle!

This variation uses Soft Sea Foam, Granny Apple Green, Pretty in Pink and Petunia Pop.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Jayne Frank – Craft with Jayne

Victoria Littlewood – VickieLou Designs

This month our theme is In Colours! I am loving this year’s additions so here’s a simple card to showcase them all in one layout.

I’ve used the Of Art and Texture stamp set… I love this! So easy to adapt to any occasion and use colours to suit the recipient.

The Basic Black layer gives the bright colours some pop, framed in Basic Beige.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial…

I have created a faux layer behind the punched Modern Oval too for a coordinated look.

I used a different stamp from the set, with the Heartfelt Hexagon punch for this version!

I have used tone on tone stamping to jazz up the card base.

A Basic White layer adds some definition to the feather panel, which was also stamped and a little ink blending around the edge.

The Modern Oval was perfect for the sentiment which was embellished with Lemon daisies, sheer ribbon and rhinestones!

Dimensional Topper using the Flowers of Beauty Dies

Hello Everyone,

Sometimes it’s the little extras in a stamp or die set that can become the feature element of a card!

The Flowers of Beauty dies not only coordinate with the stamp set, but has these cute tiny flowers too.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I used the Stylish Shapes dies to create frame around the sentiment.

Each little flower was shaped and added with some multi-purpose glue. Rhinestones were added for lots of sparkle!

Here’s an alternative layout using different colours for the flowers and iridescent pearl centres.

Love how this turned out! I think would look great as a wedding card!
