Inspire.Create #018

Hi there Everyone,

Today I am sharing my entry for the Inspire.Create.Challenge.

You can see what the design team have created here!

I decided to use one of the retiring stamp sets, Cool Treats and coordinating dies and mixed them with a retiring colour palette.

I started by constructing the cad base, first of all with Tempting Turquoise and adding Peekaboo Peach and Wild Wasabi. Finally, a white layer was stamped with the sprinkles image with Tempting Turquoise ink.

The central topper was made by adding a 3 inch square of Whisper White to Wild Wasabi and Peekaboo Peach layers.

The ice cream cones were cut from Crumb Cake card stock. First and second generation Sweet Sugarplum ink was used to stamp the ice cream.

These were adhered to the topper with dimensionals.

Finally, the word “sunshine” was die cut from Tempting Turquoise card stock.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed below.

Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Stampin’!

Cool

Hello Everyone,

I thought I would make something summery for you today.

I started by creating the ice cream cones. The elements were all cut with the Frozen Treats Framelits. I chose Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron and Pool Party for the scoops. Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip was used for the cones and chocolate topping.

A piece of Whisper White card was partially cut with the largest stitched square framelit. The die was moved along and partially die cut again to make a rectangle. This was layered on to some Wild Wasabi card stock.

Add the ice creams to this piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A Whisper White card layer was decorated with the sprinkles stamp from the Cool Treats set using Crumb Cake ink. Some Lemon Lime Twist ribbon was adhered across the middle before adding to a Wild Wasabi card blank.

I added the ice cream panel to the card base with Fast Fuse adhesive. A knot of ribbon was also added with a glue dot.

The sentiment was stamped in Wild Wasabi ink and then cut with a small oval die.

I hope you enjoyed this project. The supplies used are listed and linked to the shop below.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stampin’!
