My project features ink blending with the new Pattern of Friendship bundle.

The ink enhances the texture and creates a colourful backdrop for the punched hexagons.

The sentiment was stamped with black ink and I added some ribbon, rhinestones and gems

Monochrome Friday – Azure Afternoon!

This week…. Azure Afternoon 💙

I have used the Linked Together decorative masks with Azure Afternoon ink for a tone on tone effect!

The panel was die cut with the fabulous new Textured Notes dies.

New online exclusive stamp set, Tags of Thanks, was used for the sentiment and embellished with Starburst sequins.

Use Up Those Cardstock Scraps!

Hello Everyone!

If you are anything like me, you probably have a collection of scraps that you just can’t throw away, so today I’m sharing a scrap buster idea.

For my card, I have used ¼ inch strips of In Colour cardstock all cut from pieces from my scrap bin.

The “floating” element also uses acetate that comes with the photopolymer stamps which would normally be thrown away too.

Coordinating ink was used to stamp the wording. The block style lettering makes it easy to line up.

Mixed Florals and a Colour Challenge!

Hello Everyone!

I’m using the wonderful Mixed Florals stamp set to make my cards today.

This is one of several newly released online exclusives, be sure to check the store to see them all!

My colour combination is inspired by the SU Colour Challenge on Facebook

The image was coloured with watercolour pencils and blender pens. Accents were added using the Spring Corners stamp set.

I’ve chosen to work with one of the retiring In Colours, Copper Clay.

Coordinating ink was used to stamp the front panel with the Tiled Techniques set.

Ribbon holes were punched into a Countryside Corner die cut then stamped with the sentiment. I then added white ribbon and metallic gems.

Something Quick & Easy with Sale-a-bration Products!

Hello Everyone!

I’m using some of the fab Sale-a-bration freebies again today. The promotion finishes 28th February!

The Starstruck embossing folder creates a textured back drop for the sentiment.

I tried using some alternative colours and some bright white ribbon. Some sequins add a bit of shimmer.

Crafty Challenge Insta-hop February 2025 – Sketch Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

Today I’m bringing you the card I shared over on Instagram for this month’s Crafty Challenge….

I used the Adoring Hearts hybrid embossing folder to create my project today!

This design uses Moody Mauve cardstock for the base, some ink was added for some extra depth.

A strip of white cardstock was added to the base and the sentiment stamped below it.

The embossing folder cuts nine hearts, e each of 3 designs. I added coordinating ink to enhance the detail and adhered the with dimensionals.

I hope you like it!

The remaining hearts made these Boho Blue and Shy Shamrock versions.

Inspire Create Challenge #187 – Sketch Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is my design team make for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

For Challenge #187 we have a sketch challenge!

I have used the Country Woods designer series paper to create the background, layering the strips on to some Crumb Cake cardstock!

This ribbon is no longer available, but Basic Beige Bordered Ribbon would work well too.

Stylish Shapes Dies made up the sentiment detail, which I stamped with Night of Navy ink.

One Layer Card and a Colour Challenge!

Hello Everyone!

I’m using something new to me today with a bit of masking and a colour challenge!

The SU Colour Challenge changes each month. You can find more inspiration in the Facebook group.

I used a blending brush to apply Coastal Cabana ink over some low tack decorator’s tape and added the sparkles from the Happiest Day stamp set.

The sentiment and dragonfly were added with memento ink, and coloured with Soft Sea Foam and Fresh Freesia.

Some sequins add a bit of shimmer.

My project features the Sketched Plaid background stamp!

I used gold heat embossing on Old Olive cardstock. Some extra texture was added with an embossing folder.

The sentiment was die cut with a Stylish Shapes circle and finished with Wild Wheat ribbon and gold sequins.

This version used silver embossing with Smoky Slate cardstock.
