Today I am making some gorgeous cards with the Impressions Abloom stamp set! This set is Last Chance – get it while you can!
The stamps have been used to create a half sheet of custom Designer Series Paper which was cut down to create the various panels.
You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….
The first two layouts used familiar dimensions, 4 by 5-¾ inches (full panel) and 3 by 4-¾ inches (mini panel) respectively.
For these layouts, a 3-¾ by 6 inch panel was cut at an angle, (I lined it up at 1 inch and 2 inch). The same cut was made at the opposite end of the cardstock.
The sections were adhered to Pretty Peacock two tone cardstock leaving space to cut between them.
There were smaller pieces left over which were used for the cards below.
One was cut into 1 inch squares and added to Pretty Peacock and White Willow squares cut from Stylish Shapes die.
The other is a bonus card not featured in the video. The strip was layered with Pretty Peacock two tone cardstock and added across the width of the card base.
The original set of cards used Azure Afternoon, Balmy Blue and Pool Party, the Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist!
The sentiments are from the Simply Said stamp set. Cards were embellished with Basic Beige ribbon and Antique Pearls.

Today I am showing how I was able to create a custom sized frame for my project! It was so easy to do, and it made a real difference to the card layout.
You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….
For the background I used the Damask Designs embossing folder with Basic Beige Cardstock.
Florals were stamped in Misty Moonlight and Cloud Cover, with Pecan Pie foliage.
The frame was cut from Misty Moonlight cardstock. I used a score tool to mark mitred corners and cut away one side. This was repositioned and glued into place.
