Hi Everyone,

Something nice and simple for today using a favourite stamp set and coordinating punch!

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

I picked the lovely Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia for this happy and bright birthday card.

The design can be muted down for other occasions. This combo uses Gray Granite and So Saffron.

The scalloped detail on the card base and layers worked out so well.

A little ink, (whatever was left from a previous project) was added to the embossed panel.

A contrasting, white heat embossed sentiment and some champagne rhinestones completed the design.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Creative Colour Challenge #77 with the Petal Park bundle

Hello Everyone,

If you need a challenge, this will be right up your street .. some tricky colours to work with!

If you wish to play along you can do so HERE!

I have stuck with a floral design for my project… You can’t really go far wrong with the Petal Park bundle.

The Early Espresso leaves over Very Vanilla cardstock gave a vintage feel, enhanced with some Wink of Stella and ink blend around the edges.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

This card used different layers and a larger sentiment to give the design changing the look of the card but using the same products.

I hope you enjoyed this project.

I would love to be your demonstrator.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #134 – Case the Designer!

Hello Everyone,

Challenge #134 is to Case the Designer…. Me!

This was my take on the “floating DSP” technique.

You can see the other design team projects and take part in the challenge by clicking below… We’d love to see your makes!

I have recreated my card with coloured cardstock rather than designer series paper. All these colours are in the Brights colour family.

With all the colour in the circle element, I kept the rest of the card in monochromatic black and white.

You can see how I made this card in my video tutorial….

The sentiment was taken from the Something Fancy stamp set and cut with coordinating dies.

This sample uses the Subtles colour family and is embellished with iridescent pastel gems.

I hope you enjoyed this project.
