Whilst the greys are sombre colours that lend themselves to sympathy cards, they can still make something beautiful.
I’ve worked with four shades today, this sample uses the warmer Gray Granite and Pebbled Path. You can see the difference in the look with cool shades Basic Grey and Smoky Slate below.
I chose to work with the Layers of Beauty decorative masks.
The large image was die cut and added to complementary card bases and layered panels. The bright white was knocked back with the residual ink on my blending brush.
The sentiment was cut with a die or punch with a touch of ribbon behind and finished with some grey pearls.

I am using the Snowy Wonder bundle to make my card.
The Blackberry Bliss panel was cut to 4¾ x 3 and then cut at angle. Small trees and snowflakes were added in matching ink for a tone on tone effect.
The sentiment was added in the bottom corner.
A selection of cardstock scraps, (all subtles in this case), were stamped and die cut and adhered to a Basic White circle. I used a spare die cut but you could use a punch or a different shape altogether.

Finally, some grey pearls were added to the front, and some trees were stamped on the inside.
Here’s an alternative combo using Night of Navy and the 2024 in colours.

I am working with the Sketched Plaid background stamp to make my project today.
I used a dark ink for the stamping, and added extra lines with a Stampin’ Blend marker.
The panel was layered onto matching cardstock.
Some twine was added before adhering to the card base.
The sentiment was stamped to match the card base and die cut using the Everyday Details die. This was added to a larger die cut, and adhered to the card with dimensionals.
This version uses Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy and Wild Wheat!

I am working with the Painted Lavender stamp set and dies to make this gorgeous bouquet!
Lots of die cutting to make this card… I’ve picked three colours, light and dark plus another in a different tone – Balmy Blue, Azure Afternoon and Highland Heather.
You can see how I made it in my You Tube video tutorial…
The embossed background adds some extra decadence, framed with Garden Green cardstock to match the flower stems.
I had to add some heat embossing too. The sentiment is from the Layers of Beauty stamp set.
Here’s an alternative using Bubble Bath, Pretty in Pink and Petal Pink, with gold accents!
I hope you enjoyed this project.
