Today’s card is my design team make for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

For Challenge #185 we are creating clean and simple projects!

I have used the Country Birdhouse bundle to create my card today.

The small images from the set were coloured simply with markers.

Just a little ink was added to the background panel to enhance the die cuts.

The minimalist sentiment was stamped in black ink.

Finally, a little hint of sparkle was added with Two Tone gems.

Inspire Create Challenge #184 – Fancy Fold!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is my design team make for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

For Challenge #184 we are creating fancy fold projects!

I have chosen the Beautiful Butterflies to work with to make my project.

To make the card base, an sheet of A4 was cut on the short side to 5⅞ inch.

Rotate the cardstock and score at 1⅝ and 3¾ at both ends and crease well.

Country Lace Designer Series Paper was added to the outer panels. Basic White was added to the centre panel.

Coordinating ink was used to stamp the large butterfly and die cut. The detailed layer was cut from Flirty Flamingo cardstock and adhered over the top with a Basic Grey body.

The sentiment was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink.

The elements were added to the outer panels to complete the fun fold.

Inspire Create Challenge #183 – Sketch Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is my design team make for the latest Inspire Create Challenge!

For Challenge #183 we are using a sketch challenge for all our projects!

I have picked some favourite last chance products for my card.

I used an embossing folder to add texture to one half of the background. This was masked off to add some ink with a blending brush.

Some ribbon was added before adhering this to the card base.

A Deckled Rectangle die cut was also inked and added with Dimensionals.

Coordinating ink was used to stamp a large butterfly to add to the rectangle.

Finally, I added the sentiment, and a butterfly on the inside of the card.

Inspire Create Challenge #180 – Colour Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is made for the latest Inspire Create Challenge Design Team!

For Challenge #180 we are using a colour challenge for all our projects!

Whilst the greys are sombre colours that lend themselves to sympathy cards, they can still make something beautiful.

I’ve worked with four shades today, this sample uses the warmer Gray Granite and Pebbled Path. You can see the difference in the look with cool shades Basic Grey and Smoky Slate below.

I chose to work with the Layers of Beauty decorative masks.

The large image was die cut and added to complementary card bases and layered panels. The bright white was knocked back with the residual ink on my blending brush.

The sentiment was cut with a die or punch with a touch of ribbon behind and finished with some grey pearls.

Today’s card is made for the latest Inspire Create Challenge…. Challenge #178 is all about Autumn or Halloween!

I decided to mix up the two themes, using an alternative Halloween colour way for these beautiful autumn leaves.

I added some ink to the card panel to complement the leaves in the design.

The leaves were fussy cut and added in various angles with some lifted on dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped with black ink to carry through the theme.

Here’s a more traditional version using Wild Wheat, Pumpkin Pie and Copper Clay.

Inspire Create Challenge #177 – Case the Designer!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is made for the latest Inspire Create Challenge Design Team!

For Challenge #177 we are using a floral theme for all our projects!

I am using the Snowy Wonder bundle to make my card.

The Blackberry Bliss panel was cut to 4¾ x 3 and then cut at angle. Small trees and snowflakes were added in matching ink for a tone on tone effect.

The sentiment was added in the bottom corner.

A selection of cardstock scraps, (all subtles in this case), were stamped and die cut and adhered to a Basic White circle. I used a spare die cut but you could use a punch or a different shape altogether.

Finally, some grey pearls were added to the front, and some trees were stamped on the inside.

Here’s an alternative combo using Night of Navy and the 2024 in colours.

Today’s card is made for the latest Inspire Create Challenge Design Team!

For Challenge #176 we are using a floral theme for all our projects!

I am using the Flowers of Beauty bundle to create my card today, picking out Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly for the florals.

I added the die cuts to a Basic Beige panel with dimensionals and layered it onto Green Green cardstock.

I used some new dies the cut out the sentiment in coordinating Garden Green ink.

Here’s an alternative combo using Bubble Bath and Melon Mambo. I switched out the background for Soft Sea Foam.

Inspire Create Challenge #175 – Sketch Challenge!

Hello Everyone,

Today’s card is made for the latest Inspire Create Challenge Design Team!

For Challenge #175 we are using a sketch to inspire our projects!

As usual, I prefer a portrait layout, so I have rotated the sketch for my design.

I added Pretty Peacock ink to the background panel with a blending brush.

The Distressed Tile embossing folder was then used for a letterpress technique with Wild Wheat ink.

I find that the results are best with two passes through the die cut machine.

I used my paper trimmer to slice the panel into sections.

A Heartfelt Hexagon was added at the intersection. Sketched Butterflies dies were substituted for gems or pearls!

Try other colour combinations… This one is more muted, with Copper Clay and Basic Beige.

I am working with the Sketched Plaid background stamp to make my project today.

I used a dark ink for the stamping, and added extra lines with a Stampin’ Blend marker.

The panel was layered onto matching cardstock.

Some twine was added before adhering to the card base.

The sentiment was stamped to match the card base and die cut using the Everyday Details die. This was added to a larger die cut, and adhered to the card with dimensionals.

This version uses Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy and Wild Wheat!

I am working with Layers of Beauty masks to create my card today

I chose Blueberry Bushel, Garden Green and Crushed Curry, (Regals), to create this card.

The image was die cut using the Deckled Rectangles and embossed with the Painted Texture folder.

For a different look, I twisted the ribbon before wrapping around the front.

For this version I used Balmy Blue, Soft Sea Foam and Lemon Lolly, (subtles).

I am working with the Painted Lavender stamp set and dies to make this gorgeous bouquet!

Lots of die cutting to make this card… I’ve picked three colours, light and dark plus another in a different tone – Balmy Blue, Azure Afternoon and Highland Heather.

The embossed background adds some extra decadence, framed with Garden Green cardstock to match the flower stems.

I had to add some heat embossing too. The sentiment is from the Layers of Beauty stamp set.

I’m picked out two new die bundles, Flowers of Beauty and Unbounded Love, to use with a fantastic new 3D embossing folder and new colours too!

The embossing folder is huge so it can be used for larger cards, or creating multiple panels in one go.

Using a Basic Beige card base gives the white die cuts more impact.

I love the Unbounded Love dies, these can used as a stand alone set with any of your existing stamp sets.

Boy, was this a challenge for me…. 3D projects really take some brain power, but, a couple of prototypes later, I made this little box!

You can see how I made it in my You Tube video tutorial, including the measurements I used.

I used Very Vanilla cardstock for a change too, as it matched the little bottles I put inside.

The box sleeve was stamped using Boho Blue and Starry Sky ink and the Painted Lavender stamp set. The sentiment is from Perennial Postage.

I secured the box with coordinating Boho Blue ribbon.

Here’s another version using Pretty Peacock ink and ribbon!

I’ve used Enduring Beauty Bundle to create my card project today. I am really enjoying using the Mask, Stamp and Die together to make gorgeous cards – and it’s so easy!

I love this colour combo, and it was perfect for this card. The Fresh Freesia ink was layered to create depth on the flowers.

For this version, I didn’t die cut the image but just created a flat panel with clean edges for a different look.

The Modern Oval punch provided a guide to position flowers from the Petal Park stamp set.

A simple sentiment banner was stamped with Berry Burst ink and adhered across the flowers with dimensionals.

A few iridescent pearls finished off the card.

The original card used Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss, with flowers arranged in a circle.

I’ve chosen this beautiful new bundle, Thoughtful Expressions, to make my card project today.

The images are perfect to colour with your chosen medium, I’ve used Stampin’ Blends!

It turns out, humming birds come in an array of different colours, so you can really have fun with this image.

This combo uses Blueberry Bushel, Azure Afternoon, Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party.

Some ink blending in the background lifts the delicate shape of the coordinating dies.
