Another treat box idea for you today…. and uses Christmas paper!
The box base is made using the envelope punch board. Start with a 7 inch square, punch and score at 3 1/8 and 4 7/8 inches. Snip into the tabs as shown below; add designer paper to the “sides”. These measure 1 by 3 3/4 inch and 1 by 2 1/4 inch.
For the belly band, I cut a 2 inch strip of cherry cobbler card stock. This was bent around the box rather than measured and scored. Reinforce the creases with a bone folder. I repeated this with a 1 7/8 inch wide strip and adhere this to the card stock.
I stamped the sentiment with cherry cobbler ink on to crumb cake card stock and trim down to size. I used the tag topper punch to cut a 2 inch strip of cherry cobbler. To this I added the sentiment. I cut the strip to size then rounded the corners.
This was threaded on to gold ribbon and wrapped around the belly band.
