Hi there folks,

A really simple make today…. If you’ve ever realised at the last minute you a quick card, this is for you.

Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 4 by 5 3/4 inches.

Align the embossing folder with the bottom edge of the card and roll through the Big Shot.

I chose a “brush stroke” stamp from the Sunshine Sayings set and used this to add colour to make the embossing pop. I used Peekaboo Peach.

I then added some Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon to finish off the card.

I was so pleased this stamp set carried over… I love it!

The background was made from an off cut off Whisper White card stock which I embossed with the Hexagons folder. I inked over this with Pool Party ink, then layered this on to so Pool Party card stock.

I cut 3 clouds and adhered these with Fast Fuse.

The balloons were stamped in Real Red ink and die cut. This were added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A sentiment from the set was stamped in Pacific Point ink.

Sometimes simple is best, this is so cute, love how it came out.

I embossed some Whisper White card stock with the Petal Burst embossing folder. Before adhering to the card base, I added some Flirty Flamingo Striped Grosgrain ribbon. 

The Lovely die was cut from white card stock, then cut out using the 2nd largest heart die from the framelit set.

The largest die was then used to cut some Pink Pirouette card stock. The white die cut was then adhered to this, and added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish I tied a knot around the ribbon and added some Rhinestones.

Today I am applying a technique I learned whilst attending our team retreat over the weekend.

The lovely Janice showed us how to mask. By doing this a shape can be created surrounded by colour still allowing for stamping.

The retreat project used a circle cut from a post-it note. I have switched it up and used the pretty label punch instead.

I went with a floral theme, selecting stamps from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and purple pink tones of ink.

The same set contained the sentiment, which was stamped in Garden Green ink.

The piece was cut down and layered on to coordinating card stock.

The card base was also stamped before adhering the topper.

I finished off the card with some of the new rhinestones….even more sparkly than before!

I thought I would use some 2016 In Colours today…I thought they might be feeling a little lonely.

I have used the Oh So Eclectic bundle to create today’s project.

Peekaboo Peach was used to add the tiny petals to the card base. 

I used the same stamp for a tone on tone effect on the Dapper Denim card stock, I then scored the card stock on the reverse to add interest.

The leaves were die cut from Emerald Envy card stock. The flowers were first die cut from Powder Pink, the overlay is cut from Flirty Flamingo.

Finally, I made a sentiment banner stamped with Peekaboo Peach ink.

Yes, these are Christmas cards! Yes, it is June! Us crafter’s have to start early.

So yesterday was brilliant!

The lovely Janice provided a make and take, with a focus on masking. My end results are pictured above.

Then we made a post-it note block and pen holder, courtesy of Sam Hammond, (pictures to follow).

Amanda showed us how we can use Memories and More products. This was something completely new to me and really enjoyed seeing the products in person. Watch this space for more on these products.

Thank you ladies for sparing time to create our projects, also to Heidi for her enormous effort to provide a “one sheet wonder”. I will be finishing this off at home and will share the results.

The whole weekend was truly amazing. I have met so many new people, been reunited with others, shared crafty hints and tips, and made some beautiful projects.

Wahoo! Look at these beautiful swaps!

Had a wonderful day yesterday. I have met so many Pootlers!! Done 3 amazing make and take projects, 3 more to do today, and our team, (Laurie, Jill, Tracey and Julie) won the quiz!! 

The display stampers; Angelina, Heidi, Julie, Danielle and others contributed their ideas…some great projects!

This is why I love being a Stampin’ UP! demonstrator… A wonderful, friendly community, sharing what we love.

Good Morning!

I am spending this weekend at my first Team Retreat. I am so excited I think I might berry burst!

So just a quick share today and tomorrow I will show what me got up to.

Super simple this one. Choose your colour scheme and away you go.

Select 3 or 4 inks, then randomly stamp the circle from Wood Words. Start with the darkest colour, I also stamped off a few of them too.

The sentiment I chose is from Window Shopping…I wanted something quite bold. I stamped this in same darkest ink colour on the a strip of card to suit the height of the sentiment. The strip was cut to 4 inches long to fit the card front perfectly.

Hi there, 

Just a quick share today using just 2 stamps!

I used Soft Sky ink the stamp out the triangles. This is a photo polymer stamp, so it was easy to line them up.

A sentiment from the same set was stamped in Crumb Cake ink and cut in to a small banner. This was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Hey there everyone,

So who said dinosaurs were just for boys?

The dino was stamped with Powder Pink and Berry Burst inks. The sentiment was added with Fresh Fig ink.

I added some grounding with the small spots in the set.

The foliage was stamped with various green inks.

Hello again,

The watercolour pencils are out again. So easy to use and creates a great effect.

I have simply stamped the images in archival ink. Colour was added with the pencils then blended out with a blender pen. For the flowers I used Rich Razzleberry and Real Red. Bermuda Bay was used on the background and Daffodil Delight for the sentiment banner.

I have a simple card to share today.

I have had this stamp set for a while but not played with it yet, so when I saw Jillian’s cards on the blog hop I just had to use it. You can see Jillian’s cards here.

I started by stamping the piggy on to watercolour paper with Archival ink.

With watercolour pencils, I added colour to the edges of the image and where shadows would fall. This was blended out with a Stampin’ UP! blender pen.

The kisses were stamped in Berry Burst ink.

The water coloured piece was adhered to the Whisper White card base.

For my card, I took a stamp from Happy Birthday Gorgeous to give me a straight stem. 

The tulips, from Beautiful Bouquet, were stamped in Peekaboo Peach, centres first, with 2nd generation ink. I then over stamped with the outer petals.

Leaves were added to the stems.

The sentiment, also from Happy Birthday Gorgeous, was stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink.

This was then mounted simply onto some Pear Pizzazz card stock.

Hello again Everyone,

Today’s post is for my Dad!

From a sheet of Colour Theory DSP, use the Large Letter dies to cut the word “DAD”. Keep all the pieces to one side. Also cut the letters from black card stock or fun foam, enough to stack together to create the desired height of the letters on the final project.

Layer the DSP on to 6 1/8 inch square black card, then on to 6 1/2 inch square of Dapper Denim card stock. Adhere these to a 7 inch square white card base.

Glue the stacks of letters together, finishing with the DSP layer. Adhere these to the card. Add the centres of the letters, pushing them down to the card base.

Stamp the sentiment with Dapper Denim ink on to a 1/2 inch strip of Soft Sky card and cut in to a banner. Cut another banner in black card. Add to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished the card with some Glitter Enamel Dots.

Good Morning!

I am in love with Berry Burst, this card is all about the colour.

I have used a 7 inch square card base for this project.

I started by layering a full 6 inch square sheet of Colour Theory DSP on to 6 1/4 square white card stock. I then wrapped and tied some Berry Burst woven ribbon around it.

This panel was adhered to 6 3/4 inch square of Berry Burst card stock, and then to the card base.

The “hugs” die was cut from white card stock, then removed from the card using a Layering Circle die. 

Another scalloped circle was cut from Berry Burst card stock. The hugs die cut was adhered to this and then added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish, I added some Glitter Enamel Dots.

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing these gift tags made using the new Stampin’ Up! In Colours and You Move Me bundle.

This post is part of a blog hop featuring new catalogue items. Please stop by the other crafters’ blogs for plenty of inspiration.

To make the tags, cut Whisper White card stock in to strips 2 inches wide, 4 inches long. Use the Tag Topper Scalloped punch to create the tags.

Stamp the word “Thanks” at the bottom of each tag using each of the In Colour inks.

From each of the coloured card stocks, punch a 1 1/2 inch circle and the die cut the butterfly. Adhere the butterflies to a contrasting coloured circle. Leave the wings free to add dimension. Add each butterfly to the tag with matching ink sentiment.

To finish, cut 7 inches Finely Woven Ribbon. Fold in half and feed through from the back of the tag creating a loop. Pass the free ends through the loop to secure the ribbon in place.

Hello Crafters,

Today I have taken inspiration from the Stampin’ Up! 2017 Annual Catalogue.

I went with a more masculine look, using Emerald Envy in and card stock.

The Celebrations Duo embossing folder was used to emboss a 2 1/2 inch strip of white card stock.

The brush stroke image was then stamped over top. Don’t press too hard. Better results are achieved if the ink pad is not too wet. It took a couple of practice runs to get a clean effect. I also had success by stamping off first.

I layered the embossed piece on to some Emerald Envy card stock and added the copper trim. The panel was then adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally, I added “birthday” also in Emerald Envy ink.

I made a second card with a rainbow of colours. The panel was added flat to the card with some black metallic thread behind it. The rest of the sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink.

Welcome back,

Something clean and simple to share today.

The sentiment was stamped with Pear Pizzazz ink, then die cut using a Stitched Shape framelit. Before adding this to the card base, I stamped some small flowers in the background with Smoky Slate ink. The sentiment was then adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I selected a flower from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set. This was stamped using inks from the subtles collection. These were die cut using the coordinating die set. I also die cut the leaves from Pear Pizzazz card stock.

The leaves and flowers are arranged around the sentiment, a pearl was added to the centres of each flower as a finishing touch.

Hi there, 

Well I just can’t get enough of the new In Colours! Here’s another set of cards made with these beautiful colourxand coordinating DSP.

I was left with some strips of DSP after producing another project and wanted the make use of them.

The card bases were made in the usual way in each of the 2017 In Colours. 

Panels of Whisper White were cut to 4 by 5 3/4 inches. On to these I stamped the Marbled background stamp. This is exquisitely detailed and looks great in all the colours. The panels were fixed to the card base with double sided tape.

The strips were a touch over 2 inches wide. They were cut down to 5 5/8 inches in length, then layered onto some Whisper White card stock. These strips were added to the card base with double sided tape.

The sentiment was stamped on to Whisper White and die cut with the largest Stitched Shape framelit. This was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Good Morning Crafting friends,

This card is dedicated to a work colleague. It’s a tough time at the moment, so I wanted to wish her well.

The Fabulous Flamingo stamp set is a layering set. Three stamps are used to build the bird.

The largest image was stamped first, (body and legs), using Flirty Flamingo ink…well it had be didn’t it really!

The solid body image was stamped over top with Powder Pink ink.

The outline image was then added in Berry Burst ink.

I think this colour combination worked really well.

The water was added in Pool Party ink. The background was built up using a variety of green inks.

The sentiment was added at the bottom in black Archival ink.
